In February 2011 a bunch of keen gardeners got together to begin planning a community garden for our wonderfully unique suburb of Carrington.
After many meetings with various members of the council, the local community and local businesses, a site was chosen and gardening was set to officially begin from Saturday 3rd September 2011
Growing our own food, living sustainably, making new friends, teaching our children about food and resources and celebrating cultural diversity is what we are all about!
We want to create a space where we can come together as a community and GROW!
Our garden is a shared garden open to the whole community, with an organic focus. We hold monthly working bees where we maintain our garden and feast at the completion of a hard days work.
We welcome anyone and everyone to come and be a part of the garden regardless of your gardening ability.
